Serving the Greater Pittsburgh Area
Since 1987
TEMPORARY DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Our Temporary Department provides short-term assistance for your daytime, evening, overnight
and weekend needs. This may include mildly ill child care, a mom home with a new baby, respite
adult care, or a vacationing parent(s).
We have Moms available 7 days a week and 24 hours a day and the minimum amount of hours is 4 per sitting.
When on an assignment, they are prepared to maintain the family schedule by transporting children to music lessons, soccer practice, to and from
school, etc. (all job related mileage is reimbursed at $.56 per mile) and preparing childrens meals.
Our agency's number one priority is always the well-being and safety of those entrusted to the nannies.
PERMANENT DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Our Permanent Department relieves families of the very time consuming and frustrating experience of finding quality in-home care. Our service includes assisting the family in identifying and qualifying the applicants, completing reference checks and helping the family negotiate a competitive salary. Our average placement time is from 2-8 weeks.
We begin with a family application packet to determine the actual job description and to gather information on your family's lifestyle and temperament. Upon receipt of your application we begin our matching process by reviewing candidates who have completed our screening procedure.
We use several criteria when matching applicants with client families. We look for people whose backgrounds, previous experience, motivation and interest make them appropriate candidates for your position. Our objective is to find someone whose philosophies are as consistent with yours as
possible.
When we have successfully reviewed your position with applicants who meet your criteria, we then call you to introduce the applicant. The applicants will then call you to discuss your position and to schedule an interview. An important point to remember is that good in-home care providers are always hired quickly, making a timely hiring decision essential.
If you are interested in hiring someone to make a short-term commitment of UP TO FOUR MONTHS, we have a placement called a "Mini-Perm."
An application for either temporary and/or permanent placements can be sent to you directly by completing the "Contact Form" on the website or by calling us directly at 412.722.9445.
Thank you!
